about
Lorinda
Lorinda has navigated difficult life transitions such as a serious cardiac illness as a young teenager, moving countries with a young family in her mid-thirties, and changing career in middle age. This has taught her to adapt to change with curiosity and self-compassion—skills she now shares through her work.
Lorinda lives in England and is excited to finally (after undertaking 7 years of study when her grown daughters flew the nest) to be fulfilling her long-held dream of running a holistic wellbeing coaching practice.
Why I Became a Holistic Wellbeing Coach
After previous experiences with mainstream counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy, I found this holistic approach to be profoundly impactful. It created meaningful shifts to my way of being in the world within just a few sessions.
This experience inspired me to train as a transpersonal coach and support others to navigate life transitions with self-compassion, clarity, and purpose.
"I became a holistic coach to create a deeply nurturing space where people can reconnect with their inner strength, restore balance and return to their innate wholeness."
My Therapeutic
Approach
Holistic wellbeing coaching
Holistic wellbeing coaching is a holistic, person-centred approach that looks beyond surface-level challenges to explore meaning, purpose, and guide clients through difficult times towards meaningful change and inner peace.

This form of coaching assists clients to move from an ego-centred focus on problems toward a more expansive sense of self — providing access to their inner resources (social, emotional, psychological and spiritual) and assisting the development of practical tools to achieve life-affirming change.Holistic wellbeing coaching provides specialised support to navigate life transitions, develop coping strategies, and adapt to a new way of living with compassion and authenticity.

I am passionate about providing an empathic ear and a safe space for my clients to reconnect with their quiet inner wisdom and enrich this one precious life they have been gifted.

Coaching with Lorinda does:
- Extend beyond traditional coaching methods which rely mainly on conscious processing of clients' issues.
- Work with unconscious functioning (automatic) reactions which are at the root of issues like indecision, conflicting priorities and overwhelm.
- Is grounded in your goals, values, and self-empowerment.
Coaching with Lorinda does not:
- Replace psychotherapy or medical care
- Diagnose or treat mental health conditions

Self actualisation
“I have just had the most amazing ‘a-ha’ moments with my wonderful coach, Lorinda. She has the ability to reframe issues in a way that new truths evolve from old, entrenched patterns of thought and behaviour. She challenged me to formulate my core business statement to become the type of life coach I have always wanted to be. She also offered an amazing solution for my issue with charging for my services.
I am very grateful for the interaction with a wise, kind and talented lady! Thank you so much, Lorinda”

Personal coaching
"I felt so much empathy and tracking of my experience during the session. The non-judgmental, compassionate stance you took regardless of what I shared was really impactful. I felt safe to share. I felt more compassion for my own experience, less internal turmoil and more at peace after the session. I moved from tunnel awareness to expansiveness. I reconnected to the positive intentions of my parts, even the ones that manifest with challenging behaviours.

When I'm not in session, you'll find me walking in nature, playing bridge, reading, enjoying outings to the theatre or ballet, practicing yoga and spending time with my family.
